Female Athlete Postdoctoral Scholar
The FASTR Team is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in female athlete health and performance. Individuals with backgrounds in kinesiology, exercise physiology, exercise science, endocrinology, and engineering are all welcome to apply. This will be a 2 year position starting Summer 2025.
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team and spearhead projects to advance our understanding of relative energy deficiency in sport (REDs), bone health, and the menstrual cycle. Funding is available to support a fellow for up to two years. The fellow will work with an interdisciplinary group of scientists and clinicians, have the opportunity to share their work at international scientific conferences, and mentor undergraduate students.
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD in kinesiology, exercise physiology, endocrinology, or related fields.
- Strong research skills
- Strong leadership skills and experience
- A passion for advancing the field of female athlete research
